Our sauna corner is home to two beautiful traditional Finnish saunas, set at slightly different temperatures so you can choose the intensity and experience that’s right for you. Steam and vibes (löyly) are created by throwing water onto rocks which are heated on top of the sauna stove.
Our original sauna, Sauna Yksi (‘one’ in Finnish), was built with intensity and detox in mind. Inside, the temperature feels like hot 85°C making it the ideal space for those looking for maximal recovery and a more meditative session. Its friendly neighbour, Sauna Kaksi (‘two’ in Finnish), offers a slightly gentler experience. Inside, the temperature is a steamy 79°C making it perfect for first-timers or those looking for a calm space to relax, un-wind, and socialise.
Whatever your preferred intensity, regular sauna use can support muscle recovery, flexibility, heart health and blood circulation, stress relief, and injury prevention – meaning your stronger in mind and body for climbing, training, and life.
Sit and enjoy the heat for as long as you like, and then cool down in our outdoor showers and whisky-barrel plunge pool. The outdoor area also has benches and a wooden privacy screen so you can really take space properly unwind.
So grab a friend, bring a book, or treat yourself to an hour of doing absolutely nothing at all.
