Mile End Winter Market | Sat 07 December

Shop, climb, eat, drink, be merry at the Mile End Winter Market

Celebrating independent makers and creators from Mile End Climbing Wall and the wider climbing community, the Mile End Winter Market is the ideal spot for you to get those extra special gifts sorted in time for the holidays and spread some festive cheer with friendly folk at the wall.

Browse handmade craft stalls, sustainable gifts, Christmas cards and decorations, and top-quality climbing apparel and gear while sipping on a mulled wine and enjoying a mince pie or two.

Where: Mile End Climbing Wall, Haverfield Road, E3 5BE
When: Saturday 07 December, 12:00-4:00pm
Cost: Free entry (regular prices apply for sauna / climbing)

Plus, it’s business as usual at the climbing wall and our Finnish sauna so be sure to bring your shoes (or hire some here!) and your swimmers (not hireable at the centre) to send some of the best bouldering problems in London and kick back and relax in not one but TWO traditional Finnish saunas.

Shop, climb, sauna, and celebrate the festive season with friendly folk from the MECW community. Bring your family and pals! We can’t wait to see you there.

(If you're visiting the wall for the first time, you'll need to complete our registration waiver to climb and/or use the sauna. Completing it early will save you time at the centre. Bookings for sauna sessions are open – secure your spot here! We recommend booking in advance as we anticipate they will sell out...)

Meet our stall holders...

Mile End Climbing Wall/Development through Challenge
We'll be serving up mince pies and homemade soup on a donate-what-you-can basis, and warming mulled drinks, plus pick up some MECW merch or gift cards! As a charity, all of our profit goes back into improving the centre and supporting climbing programmes for young people and underrepresented groups. Drop by to chat with our team, learn about our plans for 2025, and share your ideas for the future of the wall!
