About Mile End Climbing Wall

We're working to make climbing accessible for all. As London's original climbing wall, we've been bringing climbers together since the late eighties. We are independent and not-for-profit, striving to remain authentic and a force for good.

Mile End Climbing Wall is housed inside an old pipe engineering works, located within Mile End Park and sitting right next to Regent’s Canal. There is extensive bouldering at all levels – including the legendary Board Room, Monkey House and Mile End Comp Wall – as well as top-roping, autobelays and lead climbing.

We cater for the complete novice through to the seasoned professional offering a range of courses on and off site. The centre has hosted many climbing events over the years, including Blokfest, Tour Du Bloc, and Team GB training sessions to name just a few. We also run regular community climbing sessions, such as our Women's Climb and Queer Climb, and support up-and-coming youth talent through our Youth Squad.

Safeguarding
Much of our work is with children and adults at risk of abuse and as such we follow rigorous child protection policies and procedures in our recruitment process.
