The first ever She Climbs took place on Friday 4 February 2022, at Mile End Climbing Wall.
She Climbs featured an all-women routesetting team, including Emma Twyford, Gracie Martin, Imi Bagnall-Smith and Ros Beveridge. After a day of setting, the area opened for a free, fun and informal event with loads of psyched female climbers tackling the new boulders.
We talk to Gracie about the event, setting with an all-women team and the wider world of routesetting in general.
