Junior British Bouldering Championships, 21 & 22 May

The Junior British Bouldering Championships are coming to Mile End Climbing Wall on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 May 2022.

This competition is aimed at young climbers who may be just starting to compete, those who are trying for selection to the GB Squad, through to British Squad members being selected for international competitions.

For our regular customers, there will be some disruption, particularly in the Secret Garden:

• Mon 16 – Weds 18 May: Competition setting in the Secret Garden. The Bloc and Trackside remain open.
• Thu 19 – Fri 20 May: Secret Garden closed, except for Trackside.
• Sat 21 May: No public climbing
• Sun 22 May: Secret Garden and The Cove closed, everything else open as normal. Off-peak prices apply.

From Monday 23, the centre will open as normal, with individual areas being reset daily. We have a few special guest setters booked in, including Matt Cousins and Alex Fry, alongside our own Alexander Lemel and Jack Busato. You’ll also get the JBBC finals blocs, which are staying up for everyone to try.
