This Level 1 First Aid Course is perfect for indoor climbing instructors (CWI/CWDI) or anyone wanting to make sure they have all the neccessary skills to render first aid when the need arises.

The course runs for 8 hours and is valid for 3 years.

The syllabus covers:

• Outline of the day is:

  Emergency comms . When/if to call.

  Vital Signs

  Emergency Casualty Accident Procedure 

  Dealing with unconsciousness and head injuries 

  Soft tissue injuries/breaks/dislocations

  Choking 

  Heart Attack CPR

  Defib Training 

  Common medical conditions 

  Epilepsy, Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
